Weather permitting, you can take a dip in the famous Chavón river, then a traditional lunch you can enjoy In the municipality of Gato, where you can enjoy the flavours of Dominican cuisine.

To continue the day boating (Paseo en la barcaza) along water trails surrounded by tropical vegetation, then visit a craft cigar factory, where you can find out how the world-famous Dominican cigars are made. The tour ends with a chocolate factory where you'll learn the secrets of local chocolate making - and of course there'll be a tasting.
